                Background on "Mother Earth Living"       This magazine initially had been named "Natural Home and Garden", which had began issuing in 1999; although, it focused primarily on aspects of building homes with other types of material such as straw and things as such. The magazine contained interesting information of these elements but there was an issue; there wasn't a sufficient mass of audience that would be reading these articles to support this type of magazine. Photoshoot Planning         Now I will be planning the photoshoot for my magazine. I have never really done this process for any other class, or any other occasion for that matter. Magazine Genre Cover Codes and Conventions Research Project Pt.1

            Codes and conventions of "Mother Earth Living"  Cover                         To further consider what I will be including in my magazine, i've come to analyze yet another magazine. I've chosen to look into the magazine titled "Mother Earth Living" because it is closely related to what I am basing my own magazine on. It mainly focuses on the holistic and medicinal uses of natural resources from our earth. By looking into the different issue covers, I identified their codes and conventions.        Symbolic codes play a major role in the magazines covers  introducing their unique topics.
